Why 'Allora'?

In Italian, ‘Allora’ is used to connect people’s thinking. It expresses a feeling or a perspective mainly by how it is said and the context in which it is uttered. Like many Italian words, its meaning changes depending on who says it, how and when.

‘Allora’ can be loosely translated as ‘then’, ’so’, or ‘therefore’, but in practice it’s meaning is more subtle. From, ‘let’s see now’ and ‘let’s get to the bottom of this’, it can mean ‘what do you think?’ and ‘where do we go from here?’ It can buy time while you’re thinking about a creative challenge or a tough question. When there is little common ground in a conversation, ‘allora’ can create a sense of rapport.

‘Allora’ captures precisely, the nature of dialogic, personalised, reflective, collaborative inquiry and learning we offer at Allora Leadership and Coaching.

Our Vision

Leadership development that delivers.

A key to realising unlocked leadership potential lies in the relationships between key stakeholders. We believe leadership is about the influence that grows in the relationships between people, irrespective of title, seniority or experience. Our fundamental belief is that influence grows in direct proportion to trust. With influence comes the capacity to generate new energy and commitment. And with that comes efficacy, confidence and capacity to achieve great things together.

We seek to coach, facilitate and mentor aspiring and seasoned leaders to reach what is highest in them; to achieve unprecedented levels of more trust and influence. We pursue this by focussing on authenticity, action, culture, teams, and a commitment to action, learning, reflection and accountability.
